Hey guys I'm looking at getting an alarm system fitted. I've searched around the forums reading about the different types of alarms available (smartlock upgrade, standalone, ect.) And am going to go look at prices.

Of course I'll still shop around, but was wondering abouts peoples experiences with getting alarm systems bought and installed by:
- Autobarn
- JB Hi-Fi
- Sunroof Centre

or any other places you'd recommend (or not reccomend) in SE Suburbs of Melbourne. I was basically just after opinions of cost, the quality of systems available and their level of service.

Thank you in advance.

Apparently they're pretty good.

I figure if someone wants it they'll get it.
Honestly is it work spending $500 for an alarm if you have full comp insurance?!

Strathfield fitted the alarms to both my old XF and my current EB no hassle.

I don't really earn enough to be spending $1500+ on full comp for a car that isn't worth that much.

I occasionally work in an area where the car might be a bit vulnerable, so I'd like to deter if anything was to happen as security are usually pretty close to hear it and go check up on it.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Surely some other people have had alarm systems installed by one of the places I mentioned?
