brought a el ex taxi on saturday, was ment to be for the diff, but i think the car is to good to wreck. half of the gas loom is missing, and i cant get the fuel pump to go. i checked the switch on the dash, and there is no power there, even the light dosent come on. i made a temp loom to attempt to get the motor going, (was sitting in a paddock for 2 years)
and now i got it running, i want to get the petrol side working.
there is no power on the pink wire that connects to the fuel pump, so im assuming the computer may be dead? gas tank is almost full, roof has a few dints from kids jumping on it, but my dad got most of them out.
i was told the motor is supposed to be a reco, but they damaged a oil ring, putting it back togeather. it smokes pretty bad when running, but dosent miss. i suppose its inpossable to remove the sump without yanking the motor?
i paid $200 for the car, and all i can see thats missing was battery, bit of wiring and the steering coloum plastic cover. has 2 brand new remoulds, and a 3rd remould thats almost new
cant afford to get a manual book yet, all funds are being used in house payments
