Go way bigger exhaust !!! Its not an N/A engine anymore !!! Fitting a MSD ignition box helps keep things scrisp also....

MSD ignition box - is that an aftermarket coil pack?

Problem with the exhaust is getting rid of the 2.5" restriction. I've yet to see a set of extractors with a collector larger than 2.5" diameter.

One of these http://www.msdignition.com/ignition_7_6462.htm
If you car has dissy...
Edit.. EF had coil packs... The more expensive Digital box to control spark?? Or use aftermarket ECU ??

from what ive been instructed about the powerdynes is that they are not the choice if you want lower down torque. they tend not to deliver power until after 3000 rpm, and can also lessen bottom end power due to the stress on the crankshaft, which is not overcome by the boost until higher rpm. Even a good tune and torque headers wont make a huge difference entirely because of the operating nature of the powerdynes.

all I can say is access the rpm faster, ie lower ratios and diff gears. But since you dont want highway revs puts you in a pickle... this means a combo of diff ratio to maybe 3.9:1 and the t-56 with its double overdrive 6th gear. its exy, but your trying to dig your way out of a hole backwards if your trying to up lower torque with a powerdyne boosted engine....

a whipple woulda s**t it in. or even an m90.

Keith from Wade has recomended there 1673 cam shaft. I've got a Crow vernier cam gear here which I could fit at the same time and retard it 2 degrees as some have recomended.
But it's still not a cam designed specifically for a blown engine.
I'll have a chat to Surecam shortly.

twr7cx, have you found and fitted a camshaft yet? If so, what are the results? I'm also interested to know if there's a specific cam suitable for a powerdyne 6. Cheers.
