I have a few injectors that wont fire, Ive tried to pulse them off the battery but they dont want to fire. IS there a chemical I can buy to soak them in? or is there a special method to clean them?
Or should I throw them in the bin and look for others? thanks |

I don't know of anything to buy that you can soak them in. Best way I found is to have them professionally cleaned off the car. I believe its a ultrasonic cleaner. Cost is usually around $20ea injector.

It does if they aren't RS, sometimes injectors fail, like everything in life.

Took em to get cleaned today and they guy tapped them while he was pulsing them and reckons they now work... so I'll put them in again and see if they all fire ok, I'll get them cleaned next week but Id like to make sure they work first

I was just about to tell you to do that. When they sit for a long period of time, even if they have been cleaned they can sometimes stick. A tap while pulsing the injector will normally get them going again.
