There is more to a car that straight line times and there are different ways to achieve 200rwkw and hundreds of different combinations.
Im not arguing with anyone, i love turbo's, but i prefer to drive a supercharged car over a turbocharged one

Fact of the matter is, where the turbo cars have it over us supercharged blokes is where they have boost.

We have make peak boost at peak rpm, where a turbo equipped car running say 8psi will make that at around 2500-3000 and hold 8psi till the rev limit.

Just to hard to do a turbo on a 5ltr on a stockish motor with ease, though with the results the mustang boys are having.....

My E.B XR8 is twin turbocharged...
If I did the conversion again I'd have higher compression and single turbo...

and running around 400 rwkw, i think.

we have built a similar car with a sta blower kit running 15 psi and it only ever made 288 rwkw. im sure with turbos it would have been an animal.

the owner sold it after 5 years and got a turbo 6 and is much happier now.

At one point it almost goes straight up!

Has it had a crack at the strip? looks like a 10 sec car with ease, if traction and gearing aren't issus. :P

thats one quick yet stock looking car.

if i pulled up next to you and didnt notice the semi slicks i would probly think it was a bit worn out making the idle rough.

top job :D

To be real quick an auto would be the BEST way to spool turbo's etc due to low compression 7.8 comp it needs spool or boost off line.. It needs either two step or some sort of anti lag / pre stage program.. It either wheel spins or its slow in 60 Ft times.. A well sorted auto imo would make it atleast 2 seconds quicker.. Fastest time is 12.2 / 128 mph with street radials... I don't think I have run when everything has gone right..My fastest e/t was one of my slowest mph !! And vice verser.. This is what gets you hooked on drags.. Its realy you against perfection....

I'm not too keen on changing suspension set up as it often goes against good road handling...
Here's a vid of my car idling...Just started from cold...

It has the 17's 245 Nexens back on it now...
