From what I understand, simply no, although possibly chase the paper trail of essence, service history, registrations etc.

what makes you rhink its wrong or been screwed with? what car is it?

In Vic you can find out how many KMs a car had done at its last RWC. Thats about it really...

if you go check out the TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS section in here and look for the bit of CHANGING INSTURMENT CLUSTER FOR E SERRIES then it will beter explain how the k's are recorded and stored and as per that documents there is no k's recorded in the computer but only stored in the instrument cluster.

So if it looks like the dash has been apart then you might be right. there was a xh XR8 ute up the road for sale in a car yard but it had a few to many km's so i didnt worry about it and i kept seeing it around and the car yard was using to cart parts etc and 4 months latter it is back for sale with alot less km's but i didnt have no proof that they tampered the k's or i could have got myself a real cheep ute lol
