Just wondering what people are running these on.
My car is not overly powerul, (prob about 130rwkw at a guess) but no matter what I do this system just cant seem to deliver fuel at high revs, infact anything past 4000 and the car really jerks and hops as it starves for fuel. From my readings and also from some fitters ive spoken to Im starting to gather these systems cant deliver for larger engines. Im aware of the 'switch to petrol' bandaid setting for high revs, and im currently not using it. But those who are getting good performance might consider this is the reason for it. Any thaughts welcome, I have been chasing faults with it for so long but now im wondering if the system simply cannot handle my slightly worked 4.0l engine.

it sound like you have a blockage of some sort.
Is the gas line large enough? Is the converter large enough? does the dream system use a converter at all? or is it liquid gas injection? from memory it is vapour injection so you need a large diameter 1/2" at least, pipe between the injectors and the converter and the manifold. Just my thoughts on the matter.

I was going to say - my old escape would do 6500 rpm with the dream.
Too small a converter, or perhaps too small a line from the tank? (should be flexible these days..). Or is the tank turned on propertly???? Nigel |

Tank all checked, the line is the same as from my old system and it did the job fine then so thats not it. Took it in today and a blockage in the converter is starting to look like the candidate. The lines between the converter and the injectors are big enough so I dont think thats the prob.
