Just installed a new high pressure hose, not genuine, a Mr. fong special, after running still have a real small leak(just a hint of red colour when I wipe with clean rag) so small, it normally would not bother me,BUT.... It does, due to the brace from the pump being strategically located so that any leakage runs down it onto the exhaust manifold where it skunks.
I don't think the leak is Mr. Fongs hose, on a search, I found this drawing(below)
Question. are there O rings at points numbered 1 and 2? I think this is where the leak is.

There is a big O'ring at position 1. You'll need an 1" spanner/socket to undo it.

Thanks,Figured ther had to be another one in there somewhere.I suspect that there has been a leak in this area for a while, the BIGGGG leak I had was hiding it.(crack in hose) No problem from the aftermarket hose ($40)the leaker was original,so will have to wait 12 years to see if the cheapie is as good.
That brace on the back of the pump was not very well thought out by Ford, anything leaking will run down it onto a hot manifold.
