alrite, one of my friends recently purchased a 96 manual ef gli 190xxx on the clock, full exhaust,cam, chip and lsd. one week has passed and suddenly it is leeking alot of coolent, which runs down the throttle body side of the engine. it is also leaking a small amount of oil.
Is the head gone? Snapped head bolt? could it just be the gasket?

Try checking the coolant hose that runs under the inlet manifold first, blown head gaskets usually leak on the exhaust side.
If the rocker cover gasket has gone hard replace it and make sure the pcv valve and hoses are in good nick.
The pcv valve should rattle when shaken gently.
