hey guys
i got a few auto meter guages for my EF fairmont
(oil pressure and water temp guage)
where did you guys install them looking for ideas

If you got any pic's plz show looking for ideas

ufacing towards you on an angle underneath the DIN surround on the rubber mat.

mounted on the dash like the BA's .

Or usiing a modified a pillar pod holder.

On my a-pillar. Just had a mate do some fibreglassing and cover it, didn't come out too well but.

Yer i tought a pillar too but i would really need to fibre it in to look nice.

Has anyone mounded them to the dash with a twin cup holder like ya BA XR6 turbo falcons or ba F6 WITHOUT DESTROYING the dash

if so can i see some pic's

i had guages mount on the stereo surround. the trinket tray was removed and i made a fibreglass panel for the guages that was angled up and towards the driver.

Just won't happen. You would have to in some way damage the dash. Feel how slippery it is you can't just plonk something on top, it would have to be glued down (which would damage the dash if removed), or screwed down or something to keep it in place. Plus you'd need a hole to feed the wires through.

hey mate,

i got 4 in my ef, oil pressusre, fuel pressure, air fuel ratio. i mounted them under the ash tray, (series2 type ash tray) and boost low down on pillar.

and they look awesome!!! i tried them few different spots and this looked best and attracted less attention from onlookers with sticky fingers!!

i jus used the cheap plastic mount cups from supercheap and mounted them upside down! if u ever take em out you'll never see the screw holes!!!

im in the process of designing up a demister vent cover , the 4 gauge's are going to be recesed into it ( 30%of the face not visable ) . ill show some piks when get onto working the Interia . Working on running gear atm .

u could just place them on the crash pad couldnt you? just a bit closer to the windscreen than low ghia's
