Hi i have an 1998 au fairmont ghia with tickford wheels bodykit and suspension and im just wanting to know if it is realy tickford or fake.

Model number is 18938

they were a factory option so could well be.

Have you got the book or anything? does it say anything about it in there?

I do have the book but nothing in there about it.

The bodykit is fibreglass and i have been told that tickford didnt make fiberglass bodykits.

i guess one way to tell would be to take them off and see if the tickford wings are on them,. they should be cast into it somewhere

I have a 1998 Tickford Equiped Fairmont. The three features you said did come out as options, however as mentioned, the kit wouldnt be fibreglass if it was genuine, but that may have been replaced due to an accident or something. If it is genuine you will have a tickford plate on your right hand inner gard (next to you Radiator overflow tank) that will list the tickford modifications.
