Seriously, I'm stuffed if I know why but I just went to 3 garages and my wife's EF on gas won't take any in, even though it's nearly empty. It takes about 5 cents worth and then stops. What the freak is going on, please....

the AFL cutoff has frozen up
you may be able to get it to work. I have had this happen before a couple of times and it was a very cold morning. Try it again tomorrow. Try tapping the tank with a mallet.

And fill the first few litres slow, not flat out.

Thanks for the advice. What bit is the AFL cutout, is that the solenoid thingo that has the wire going to it?
Sorry, not savvy to gas stuff at all...
