Autos are a lot better then a T5 but will still break with a fairly reasonable turbo setup behind them. The TKO as Tocchi said is a good option or even a T56 six speed. A Supra 5-speed is practically indestructable too.

thats the worse thing with the e-series and big hp, the transmission isnt up to the job, and uprades cost a lot more than most want to spend... I wasnt going to pay for a t56 or tko so i did my own r154 conversion. In the end the complete conversion with heavy duty tailshaft and yokes, and hardcore clutch, custom thrust washer, cryo treated gears still set me back roughly $3.5k.. theres no cheap fix, maybe for you, look at the g-force t5 internals from the U.S, someone on here got some at one stage, never heard anything more about it... also, fritzz did a tko600 upgrade i think, ask him what that set him back.. he had a thread on here about it

Gday boys,

Got myself an ef, had it for just over 2 years... Got 2.5inch straight pipe, pacemaker extractors running, fpv GT 18" rims, king springs...

Anyway, enough showing off, i need some expertise on a turbo...

I noticed you boys talking about snort performance, the stage 2 looks good, butt if i oder it, its a DIY... so who can i call for installation? coz i got no clue =D.

Is it worth me ordering? Or should i just find a place to drive in drive out? If so who can you guys suggest for a good job? i called Nizpro... f**k dont do any fords before BA... A HOLES!

Anyway some help would be much obliged...

Cheers
