i know, i know, RTFM (read the f**king manual) i forgot to get the workshop manual out of my car and its raining here (plus ad im really lazy) so getting it back out of the car is not an option..
I am wanting to know how to adjust the hight of the low beam on an EL XR. mitch_G and i installed some HID's today but the drivers side is pointed too low at the moment so I want to raise it slightly. thanks in advance

Do it infornt of your garage in the evening too, switch on the lights in front of a wall or garage door and then adjust so they line up at a good height.

Your manual should have an aiming chart with all dimensions, and distance of the car from wall (from memory 5 metres).
Since the chart and your lights are designed for halogen lights, you'll obviously need to drop the lights lower for HID's.

You will find that the projector low beams will work fine at standard height with HID's, i have installed heaps of HIDs and put some 55w units in both high and low of my twin light front, the cut off point is so sharp and clear, there perfect for each other

yeah i found that the drivers side was slightly too low, and the beam needed to be extended 5m or so to be spot on.

i found that the easiest way is to take off the front indicators then adjust with a socket head.
