Been a few other threads around on this.
When my XH XR6 did the same I found it was one of the door lock motors that was on its way out, which made the car lock and unlock for no reason. It was pretty easy to fix, as Ive only got the two doors to worry about (I replaced them both). Try taking it to a sparky and he may be able to narrow down which one is faulty. I havent had a problem since I replaced them. Also Im pretty sure that if you unlock your car but dont open the door, the car will relock itself after a few minutes, dont quote me though.

Sounds like one of the actuators.....once doing it consistently, remove front door trims and disconnect one lock motor,If lock cycle stops, problem either front or rear that side.Front is actuator, rear is called slave as needs signal from front actuator.Once side determined, remove rear door trim that side and start lock cycle again.Disconnect rear actuator motor,If front still cycles, then front faulty,if stops, rear slave motor faulty....

I have known many EBs with central locking that went haywire. Every one of them was because the battery was near flat. Still had enough in to crank the motor enough to start but it seems the central locking system is very suseptable to low volts.
New battery fised it each time. Maybe borrow a mates battery to try it first.
