Hey guys,

I am new to the forums so not sure if a post like this already exists. I live in Canberra and recently got my hands on a shiny Hot Chilli Red EL XR6. It has already been lowered and had a few minor things done to it.

The only problem with it is the clearcoat in some spots needs fixing up, which I will be getting done this month. My other priority is to get some wheels.

Thought I might ask everyone what their favourite wheels are on an E-Series (with the EL XR in mind).

Cheers!

Simmons FR's - got a spare 4 grand?
There's a big thread on antoehr Ford website with various vehciles (Fords and other manufacturers) all with these wheels, there isn't 1 that I don't like the wheels on.

depends what kind of wheels you like?
i personally think they look beautiful with the BA xr8 copies or the typhoon copies.

i personally think that anything larger than 18" looks wanky and tacky, but i'm pretty much alone on that thought it seems

I'm with you there. I'd rather have my Simmons in 17" even, but since I bought second hand that option wasn't around.

I tend to agree on the size issue and I love the look of the ba mk2 17's

I was thinking these..

I like them. There's a lot of junk on Tempe, but every now and then they have some really nice looks. They used to have a set which had the rears with a deep dish on them - HP Racing or soemthing they were called.

Not alone on that..to me they just look too big..But each to their own I suppose.
I still reckon the old EL GTs look great on E series.
