I have just bought a 98 NL fairlane concorde 6L and have been offered a full turbo setup for $1800 and the bloke selling it is going give me a hand putting it all in as im not too mechanically minded, my question is, are there any reliablility issues when it comes to boosting the falcon engines that i may run into as i can't afford to have it playing up all the time. any advice is apreciated!

You have to look at the three "tee's".....Tits, Turbo's, Tyres...... gonna all cost you money....some more than others for sure.....If you're not to mechanically minded, then i think you answered your own question as to any problems or reliability, or whatever. Don't get sucked in because everyone else is doing it.
Does the set-up come with an aftermarket ECU?, what was the guy running??, why's he selling it??? Get some experience frigging around on cars before you jump head first into turbocharging. Good luck whatever you decide, and remember, we're here to help. Cheers Daz

first post in the forced induction forum,
second whats a 6L NL fairlane? do you meen 6cyl? or 5L? a turbo conversion if you havent got a mechanical type back ground could become very expensve very quickly.. my advice would be to do your research very carefully, check out the forced induction forum, lots of info in there... -mitch
