the wastegate sits perfect on the flanges and the clamps go around and seal as good as you would expect but still i put soapy water and it bubbles around the clamps, am i suppost to put some gasket sealant between the flanges when installing them.
and what do you reccomend.

What clamps are you talking about?

i have a tial 44mm wastegate and it has 2 clamps that hold the waste gate to the flange and the screamer pipe to the wastegate.

Oh ok? all mine flanges bolt up. i have used "dyna grip" copper rtv silicon gasket maker on my exhaust flange that bolts onto the turbo (its a HOLSET so uses a flange not a v-band) and it is working fine so far. its rated to 375 C and seems to be handling the presure ok, no leaks as yet. Are you sure is not the water boiling that is giving the impression of a leak? remember water boils at 100c at sea level and the manifold will get way hotter than that in a maner of seconds!

i fixed the problem, i put some gasket sealer that came in a tube. no more leaks.
