hey guys
just wondering if xr6 turbo rods and pistons will fit in my 02 au block? need to know asap thanks in advance

with one modification yes. You need to have a notch cut for the inlet valve on top of the piston. The older BA XRT6 rods are not that strong so beware.

none of the BA XR6T rods are stronger than the earlier ones. the BA F6 rods and valvesprings are upgraded from the XR6T, the early BF XR6T's have the F6 valvesprings and during 2006 the BF XR6T got the F6 rods as well.

What power are you after ??
The std AU rods will handle 300 odd rwkw all day!!! Spend the $$$ on tune and good fuel supply!!! Its detonation that KILLS rotating assembly... Spool rods are about the cheapest out there... Spool and ACL pistons.. The LPG rods are the cheapest std rod...
