I went for a drive today to towoomba in the monty and going up the range she got pretty warm i made it up with out going above half but even that seems steep to me .... i don't know why the flacon did it and my mates puss bucket four banger makes it up no problems and he is raping it to get it there ??? any ideas on why it would be warming up so much???

Could be one of many things related to the cooling system. Sounds most likely to be a bockage in the radiator, restricting coolant flow and reducing the cooling ability.

A good flush of the cooling system should help.

Thermostat may have hit the s**t...check if yours is still in good working condition.

If not, blockage somewhere as brandoando said.
