Hi All,

My EL falcon has just come up with missing issues and took it to my mechanic and replaced the leads, coil, spark plugs and distributor was replaced a couple months ago.

When i took it in the missing wasent as bad but now after everything was replaced the car misses heaps more under 1500rpm, but when it gets warm it dosent do it as much????

This is giving me the S%#TS and have no idead whats going on.

When i left the mechanic it was fine but after a few hours when i went to drive it again it done the same thing and still doing it.

All help is appreciated

Thanks in advance

Have you tried reseting the timing? Might be a fair way out.

When it comes to Gas and Dizzy, you cant rule anything out..... im guessing the injectors, or module/dizzy related still?

Maybe TPS - Check TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) make sure you measure resistance and see the resistor smooth when you open the Throttle (slowly).

If you not sure... get one from wreck and replace to see how it does!

My mechanic said he tuned it lean so now he gave it abit more juice and seems ok.

So no aftermarket ECU dude lol

Just a gas tune

weird stuff ay,

My car runs 95% of the time on gas, only works on petrol when it warms up in the morning so id want the car 2 run good on lpg.

Lets see how she goes in the next few days.

Ok ppl,

I still have the same issue and im convinced its something else possibly ignition as it only does it intermittently.

I find that it does it only a little when its on petrol and its only a quater as bad.

Any suggestions?

The converter was on its way out so i had it replaced and good for a day now with the similar problem but alot worse.

The mechanic thinks its a faulty set of leads so lets see how we go LOL
