howdy,
i have a 93 eb fairmont ghia v8 which im useing to repower a 56 hot rod, ford in a ford,using the complete loom mtr/box and as many bits as pos but need to modify loom but cannot get wiring schematics as i wont be able to use air cond cruise/c or abs. trying to identify computors, ( red one, green one ) and presume benndix for abs. can i remove benndix comp and wires without affecting running need lots of help as i know its gunna be a major but have spent 2 yrs trying to sort it myself to no avail cheers |

Buy a Workshop manual for the EB/ED seires to help you better understand the colours and wires etc etc.... i don't think that the abs would be an issue as it is really only a modulator that pressurises the lines etc etc in an order that prevents lock ups
but i may get blasted for talking out my a** so i will stop... but ^ is my opinion

There is a handful of wires to cut but none are connected to any of the wires for the motor or the ECU. |

cheers, have tried to get manual via internet and ford dealers but no luck.
seems they dont keep them for cars that old!!!! can get eb but not v8 fairmont . am trying to do deal to borrow dealers own repair manual. think one cmp is body module ( security ) maybe other is climate control?? red or green, can any one identify these for me? yes i think i can remove bendix comp and wires to so will start dissection, great site, cheers |
