I am looking at buying a head unit in the next couple of weeks and it would be awesome if you guys could provide me with some help... I'd like to have at least 2x RCA preouts for future upgradability (amp for a sub, amp for speakers) and a usb connection would be sweet but isn't a essential... My budget is about $200-300, but is by no means concrete...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Pioneer DEH-P7950UB is pretty decent. Though it may be out of your price range. When I bought it last year in October, I paid just under $500 for it. So if you are lucky it may be in the $350 - $400 mark.

It's got 3 sets of RCA outs...for front, rear and sub. It also comes with an Ipod adapter that you can plug into the USB cable. Though my head unit won't play my mates Ipod...but has played numerous other people's Ipods...mine must be racist towards him lol.

But it is a good head unit. No troubles yet.
