Hey Guys,
I'm building a EL 4.0 motor to handle a fair bit of boost. My machinist O-ringed the block when I really didnt ask him to. I was going to use the standard MLS headgasket but now being O-ringed, a mate of sorts suggested using the ACL because it's fibreous. Any suggestions? Are the ACLs any good with O-ringed blocks?

With a "fair amount" of boost then O ringed might be a blessing I would think a copper one is the go to bring down the compression.

I'm not looking to lower the comp with a gasket. I've changed pistons and even opened the chambers to give me a 8.7:1 comp ratio. Its the headgasket itself.
I've put together motors before but not one that has been O-ringed. My mate used ACL Race Series when he got his block O-ringed and the headgasket blew within the running in stages.

Try posting this in the forced induction forum. I know some have o-ringed blocks there, and are more likely to be able to help.
