I am having a problem with me heater in my NC Fairlane. When the heater is set at 32 i only get Luke warm air. I have replaced me blend door motor and done a system reset no codes come up most of the time. Sometimes you will get an E3 error code coming up once in a blue moon. Both heater hoses are hot. I have replaced the heater valve, blend door motor and the climate unit, Cabin Sensor and still only get Luke warm air. I have flushed out the heater core and check the blend door both seem to be ok. Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

Is the car on LPG. If so its most likely routed wrong. Incorrect thermostat fitted/ Faulty. Water pump not flowing properly due to impellar shaft wear. Try running fan speed no higher than 5. Good luck

No me car is not on LPG i have a new water pump and a genuine thermostat in my car. The cooling system has been flushed twice and put a new genuine heater valve on. I have replaced hoses,new blend door motor. I think this might be another dash out job and check the heater box. The only thing i can think of is the door is jamming or the heater core might blocked .

im guessing heater core blocked. just hope for the best it doesnt blow.... then things inside the car get wet
 i found out the hard way in the EA lol

I have checked the flow of the heater core and it seems to be flowing pretty well. So the only thing i can think of doing is ripping out the heater box and start checking me doors.

lol i have the opposite. i can have mine set of 18 or below (i dont have an aircon belt) but even when set on fresh air it still pours in hot air. heater works fine but i can never stop the heat coming in

Mine is exactly the same...... even on 32 my heat is never that hot.
I just manually turn the fan down and it seems to work better. And it frustrates me that it wont turn on until the engine is at normal operating temp, it just kicks on as I get home LOL 
Although a lot of what the manual says the climate control should do it doesnt (i.e: changes to windscreen when it gets to temp etc) and no error codes so I give up with mine.

On the weekend i did some more searching on my heater problem. When you get the engine to normal temp and turn the car off it will have hot air for about 1 minute. Soon as you start the car it goes back to luke warm heat. The only thing i think it might be is me cabin sensor might be faulty. I have replaced 2 of them and 50% of the time it will bring up E3. How do they short out? Is there any way of fixing this E3 problem?

Press OFF and Floor buttons together. Just make sure the car is at normal temp. Hopefully it helps you out mate.
Oh and my fairlane is the same colour as yours

I think the problem has been solved. I have removed my thermo fans off my car and replaced them with my clutch fan. Now the heater is finally working.
