|
first off brakes lights werent working. checked fuses/ relays all were fine. got a new brake switch on now and they did work but it keeps shorting out after pressing the brakes after a few times. any pointers on this one?

I'd be checking the wiring directly behind the wiring plugs cos they have a habit of coming loose and thats what could cause the brake lights to keep on failing.
Also this is what would cause the fuses to fail for instance.

been a long time since I did this.. but you can eliminate the rear lights for testing by unpluggin them near where the loom runs down behind the back seat (drivers side of the back seat)..
unplug the loom and see if the globe still blows, if it does, the problem most likely up the front at the switch.. if it doesn't blow, check the wiring in the boot. |
