I have recently installed new dash lights in my falcon, how can you make the needles glow if they are orange. The blue bulbs were to long for the top of cluster and whit make the top look white.

Also wont blue and orange come out brown?

HI, I take it you have an EL Falcon? It helps if you tell us what car, or bits you have.

You need to get needles from an EF as they are clear and will then glow whatever colour the lights are that you put in.

Cheers.

i have heard, but am not 100% sure, that you can change the colour of the needles.

from memory, it involves scraping the orange backing off them and then painting them in whatever colour you want. i'm not sure if it needs to be solid paint or semi transparent or what not?

nail polish i think was something thrown around.

can someone confirm this for us?
cheers

yep done that. scrape it off with a knife then sand it smooth and clear. then get some whiteout or stain or anything else that transmits light. should look awesome!
