Hey there, I'm looking at buying an NF-NL Fairlane to upgrade from my EF Futura. Preferably with dual fuel. Just looking for some owner reviews of these vehicles. I took one for a drive the other day and it seemed to drive differently to the Falcon, quieter, smoother etc. anyone got any more info?

Try and find a Ghia version. Got more fruit than a standard Fairlane.
Speed sensitive power steering, premium audio, leather interior, chrome bits, woodgrain, more interior lighting, plenty more leg room in the back etc. |

thanks for the feedback guys, it didnt take long They definatly are a luxury cruiser. I didn't know there was just a "fairlane" i thought they were all ghia's in the NF-NL range? I thought there was only the Ghia, Ghia Concorde and LTD? the one I'm looking at 2 at the moment, both ghia's, one had two particular options the other is missing which is leather upholstery and the sunroof. anything mechanical to look for, especially with the dual fuel converted engines?

yeh mate leaks depends on ur gas gear but my car was a ex limo so it was looked after pretty well u don't have to worry bout the engine just other stuff like computer and sensors but apart from those small probelms its a sweet ride have a look at mine if u want the leather is ok in the car the reason mine doesn't have it in it is cause leather is too hot in cairns and cracks really easy not a bad idea with the sun roof im thinking bout getting one in mine

None performane wise. one fairlane has tinted windows, EL XR6/8 16" wheels and rear wing, the other is completely standard. The Verada I have right now is a nice car, but it's no longer suiting my requirements. I can't go too silly with mods on the fairlane as it's required to tow a horse float every now and again. Definatly going to change the suspention though, monroe gas all round i'm thinking. I did that with my EF and it made it a different car to drive, along with a good set of tyres. I should never have sold that car! haha
