Unbelievable. I was reading some threads around the place this morning, which eventually led me to the tech documents page. And then I read the Climate Control Diagnostic write for the EF, as I've had an issue for almost 2 years now.
The only heating that worked in my car for the last 2 years, is when it's directed to feet, and then only to about 20Celsius. Split it to face and feet only got me cold air. I froze my a** off for the last 2 Winters. So this morning I go out and do the diagnostic. And what do you know. It fixes itself. My heating now goes to maximum. I should have done it a long time ago!! |

Yeah, running a self diagnostic will force the blend door motor to cycle and recalibrate itself.
Sounds as though yours was out of range. They won't respond if out of range, and a recalibration will generally fix it (unless the motor is just stuffed, in which case you've got problems). Congrats!
