Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has had a problem with their window tint interfeering with their radio or gps units? I was reading on one website that tints can effect this and that a non metallised tint should be applied. The reason for this apparently is because on the BA and BF models the antenna is actually located within the rear window.

I have just purchased a BF XR6 and i am trying to work out whch way to go with the tint. Any advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Brett.

radio wont be affected, as the aerial is outside the car, same with most factory gps units, infact, all gps units will be fine as they cant legally tint the windscreen, the only time your gonna have trouble is if you use a metal film tint, with an in car tv system with the aerial recieving from the rear window :D so if you have that, move it to your windscreen and problem solved

I'd just avoid metallic tints as has been mentioned.
