Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a remote key for my EF. eBay sells them but they are not the original keypad that comes with the car.

Do other keypads work with different fords or do i need to get one specific to the EF?

If I need to get original, where is a good place to find one - besides Ford Dealer, & how much should i pay for it (i don't want to get shafted)?

used remote keypads can be bought from wreckers for around $20, eb2 to el are the same. they are easy to reprogram for your car,instructions can be found in the technical section.

Much appreciated. I was dreading it might cost about $100, so thats music to my ears.
