How do you adjust the timming on ef falcon??? Step by step please |

timing cant be adjusted on ef because they are running coil packs. not the standard dizzy like in the early e-series an el falcons

You can LOOK at the base timing using that method, but you can't set it. Can't be changed at all unless you modify the crank angle sensor so you can move it around.

What they all said!. As much as you can move the cam angle sensor around, it wont change the timing as its set by the crank trigger.
What you might be able to do is find an interceptor for the EDIS though, and change the timing that way. There used to be units to adjust LPG Timing curves that way. Nigel |

Yeah EL has dizzy which you can just move around to adjust base timing.
You can still put the EF into diagnostic mode, which will lock timing at base. It could help you diagnose a faulty crank angle sensor, if you found timing to be erratic while doing this.
