I've read the tech docu for installing T/C, need to know where can u buy the 3 extra wires needed, including the data line? Also how do u connect the wires to the pin outs, 4 e.g can u connect it without using a solder ?

It's just wire mate - Repco, d**k Smiths, JayCar, etc. all sell it. Just get 3 different colours of some fairly thin stuff. I think I used 5amp Narva stuff.
You strip the ends and push them into the factory, plugs so yeah, no solder.

don't you need like a female part to go into the plug that plugs into the trip comp??, or just go ahead and shove the wire in there and hope it doesnt fall out??

haha yeah you should do.
What i did is I went to the self serve wrecker and cut an instrument cluster plug or similar out and broke it up for a few pins, solder about half a meter-meter of wire between 2 pins, used another couple of those pins and crimped them in to the demister.

I like most people just pushed the wire in and it has been working fine for years now.

Grab one of the dash cluster plugs or a stocko clock plug from a wreck, cut it off leaving a couple of inches of wire.

You can pop the pins out using a small jewelers screwdriver and then insert them into your dash connector and the trip computer plug. Then strip back a small section of the wire on the pins and solder/crimp/dodgily twist them onto the ends of another piece of wire.....theres your data line!

For the other two pins on the trip comp plug, just solder them to the appropriate wires on the heater plug/rear washer plug.
