No.

I just upgraded my clock to a TC, and you need to add 3 wires. Data line, and two power lines, one for battery 12v (always on), the other is the cluster dimmer power.

The Clock doesn't get power without the acc on. The TC adds the 12V batt power so it can be used (in clock only mode) without the accessories being on.

nah man, I put a TC in my gli, ran one wire for the cluster data and snipped another wire to make the lights work correctly. That was it!

You wouldn't get the dimming feature thats linked to your cluster then (or don't GLis have cluster dimming?).

no, only the high series have the dimming - I will have one day though, got the loom and s**t ready, just got fuzions problem - I'm too lazy! :P

i ran the three wires like in the doco. my tip is to make sure that the connections are riht and get it in the right part of the pin.

ps. how do i change the name now of this thread now its fixed
