Hi all, I have a few issues with the lane at the moment, and just wanted some advice to how i would go about fixing it...

- The diff is a 3:4:5 LSD and is still very tight, when i turn corners (coming into a drive way, U-turns and so forth), the diff makes a whining noise (sounds squeaky)..

-I topped up my brakefluid on the brake booster a month ago, now its empty (or there abouts), I think i found where the leak is, On the re-fill bottle, theres an electrical plug that plugs in and out (two pronged), when i took it out it was very wet and seeping brake fluid.
Do i have to go to ford to get a new one?, is it a seal?

Cheers
- Ash

Yeah i was thinking wheel bearing, Its hard to tell, but it sounds like the diff:S...
the brake booster itself is brand new, only a few months old, i'll see if ican get a pick of the leakage

it'll be probably the cruise control switch on the master cylinder.
common as.

get a new one and fit it, and bleed the brakes.

The rear wheel bearings hadnt been done in a while on the NL so id get them changed over first

I gave FTG a buzz, (hence why i called you nicko:P)..$10 and they said its the plug that goes into the master cylinder..

yeah i'll have to change them then, are they expensive to do?
(oh btw, I get alot more whine when i've dropped the clutch, or put the car under pressure)

Cheers
- Ash

I'd get a brand new pressure switch.

When they leak real bad (which just happens) you will loose your brakes with the added bonus of pissing straight onto the extractors, which will ignite the fluid and start a fire.. lol..

Dunno. Never had to buy one.... Yet.

But it is a safety thing. I'd ring Ford now and basically take whatever they offer.
