In my experience, on an auto falcon be it 6 or 8, on the change from 2-3 and 3-4, they seem to hold the gears too long in power. By doing the run in my flacon with NOS only, there was a .2 sec difference from power to auto. It was the difference between a 13 and a 14 when i first started racing

With an auto 8 (stockish), they stall speed seemed t be optimum at around 1200 rpm, at around 1800 i was losing a tenth in the 60ft time.
Stock EF xr8 auto was 15.5 (3.23 diff) and that was with an exhaust and a 140 kg driver as well a spare wheel. I was rather happy with that.

I have big problems with my 60 foot times. My best ET is 12.38@116mph, but my 60' time is still close to 2.2 seconds. Short of a big stall and slicks what else can I do to reduce this? I've tried stalling between 1200rpm to 2000rpm (more then 1500rpm usually results in wheelspin).

A Set of et streets, The best my EF could do before the blower was 2.216. You are at least making 2-3 times that grunt, A good set of tyres should see it run close to an 11.
