Been looking around at ACL Race Series rebuild kits, and cheapest ive found is $650.
Now got me wondering how much labour would a mechanic charge to fit this kit? Also i thought the Race series kits bumped up compression, but the ACL website says its only 9.6, is this enough for a noticable increase? Whats people's opinion on the race series kits? And finally, what else should be replaced whilst the engine is being rebuilt, like oil pump etc.....? |

your prolly looking at around $1000-1200 for fitting, plus machining costs if any.
I see the mocks only bump some of the Devs to 9.55 compression unless you go DEv 6 which IIRC is up near 10. |

For the price of them versus the hassle to access it again later, it's not something I'd skip. |
