Been looking around at ACL Race Series rebuild kits, and cheapest ive found is $650.

Now got me wondering how much labour would a mechanic charge to fit this kit?

Also i thought the Race series kits bumped up compression, but the ACL website says its only 9.6, is this enough for a noticable increase? Whats people's opinion on the race series kits?

And finally, what else should be replaced whilst the engine is being rebuilt, like oil pump etc.....?

your prolly looking at around $1000-1200 for fitting, plus machining costs if any.

I see the mocks only bump some of the Devs to 9.55 compression unless you go DEv 6 which IIRC is up near 10.

For the price of them versus the hassle to access it again later, it's not something I'd skip.
