Hi, i have bought wood grain trims from the wreckers.
the prob is the rear 2 have lookd like that they have been stripped bak an stained, an the front 2 didnt get done, im just wondering if i sand them bak, should i just apply a polish or stain them and polish ? an does anyone no what wood was used in these cars ? thanks daniel |

... the ef never had actual wood? it was some dodgy plastic.. i got NF ones in my car and yea thats the case...

EF series one has proper wood trims. After that they were s**t plastic.

yeah the ef ones r wood and r rosewood i used 2pak automotive clear on mine

hmm, maybe mine are NL then? only just put them in... need new front wood inserts too, one is cracked the other is pealing..

so what should i do to get a stain on it, after i sanded bak the old gloss on it ? |

Can be stained according to your taste I guess.
Yes the only F or L series to have real woodgrain on the door trims was the EF series 1 Fairmont Ghia (1994-95). |
