Hey Ash,
150w will runa laptop and ps2 and xbox. Not sure if it will run a ps3 though The wattage you need will depend on what your trying to run, ie TV's have an initial surge of power that could sometimes be more than teh 150w, meaning you will blow the fuse on the inverter I have a 150w to run my laptop when im out in the country

you would be better off finding a DC-DC converter that outputs what the PS2 and PS3 need (i assume they have a plug pack that runs on 240V and that outputs DC into the console) an inverter will generate noise in the electrical system depending on the quality of the inverter and what type it is, modified sine wave/full sine wave, etc.
look into DC line filters like this: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... &SUBCATID= |

A PS2 doesn't have a plug pack. It's quite a bit of work to run DC directly into it. You would need to tap into the power supply circuitry inside the PS2 unit.
