Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me my "Climate Control Display" is no longer luminated it is functioning but I can't see the display anymore.. Any ideas what needs fixing and how ??

sounds like you have a blown globe in the back of the C/C display.

If you search around the net you'll find a 'how to' on pulling the dash apart, apparently you can fit a blue/green/red globe. it's a press in type. Replacement computers are plentiful if the unit is stuffed.

Dash is easy - theres a heap of screws around it, and thats really about it. You have to take off the cd surround first tho - 1/2 screws. The CC has 4 screws, and you need to pry it open.

Also the globe is T10. Best not to change the globe colour because there is orange filter paper in there. Unless you want to change that as well.
Anyway I've found that even with the right colour filter paper orange is pretty much the best and easiest one to read.

hey just wondering why you say you need to pry it apart?
If he just needs to change the globe, unless your talking about th vac hose?

t think he means pry it offf the dash, there those clip things across the top of the dash that hold it in place rath that screws
