Yes I have I had a go with it in my piece of s**t commodore.

I suggest you don't use quick dry enamel as it seemed to bubble up and react to the plastic.

I ended up using a paint brand name PowerPlus Spray & brush system. I sourced the paint from autobarn. So basically use touch up paint in a spray can.

There is usually a little catalogue not too far away from the locked away paints that shows what colour is best with your car (i.e use cardinal red for paint codes 1-5, use marine blue for paint codes 6-10, etc). The Paint or colour code is usually hidden under the bonnet near the vin number area or on a plate similar to the vin number. But you should get the point.

And no you shouldn't have to rub the plastic back.

Would have replied quicker but I wanted to see Geelong give the all goods to Richmond :)

No probs at all, glad to be of assistance. As I said to you take your time with the plastics. Prepare them carefully and just use light coats, letting each coat dry for about half an hour, before applying the next one.

Good luck with it all, and nice to meet you. You'll have to come out on some cruises soon, and get to meet some of the other guys.
Cheers, Tim
