It seems a shame but I am wrecking this complete AU XR8 engine .

All I require is the bare block but I am also keeping the timing cover, waterpump, front accessories and brackets and engine mounts.

The balancer, coil pack and distributorless ignition parts are sold pending confirmation.

All remaining internal and external parts are for sale for reasonable offers, otherwise I will keep them

The engine has only 135,750klms on it so it should be in good nick.

The heads have GTP embossed on them so I assume they are GT40P's. They have stamped rockers but I also have a set of Ford SVO/Crane 1.7 roller rockers if you want some .

The extractors are made for these heads and are a lot better than the normal stock 5.0 units but the bottom collector pipes were cut with a grinder rather than use a spanner but it will be easy to have a replacement pipe welded at the join etc as they are good solid units, ie no rust etc.

The upper and lower manifolds are GT40's and will include wiring, fuel rails, injectors, EGR spacer, 65mm TB etc, which would make for an easy bolt on to a stock 5.0 along with the heads and cam

If I accept offers for parts I will indicate here what is sold.
