Will XR6-Fairmont Ghia dash clock fit in 02BA-XT.
Has XT got wiring loom to suit this clock or will a loom need to be purchased?

Nope. They are not worth that much.
There is a tech article about it here somewhere. You need: (a) A PC CDRom Internal audio cable. The end that plugs into the Back of the CDRom is identical to the plug on tha back of the clock. (b) The intestinal fortitude to find the wires in your loom to jumper the cable to - this is for providing permanent clock power, GND, illumination power and dimming. To do a 'factory' install requires a High Series BEM (Body Control Module) as this is the module that supplies the power, and an ICC sub-loom from a DZ Climate Control ICC, as this picks up the lines from the BEM and runs them up to the 'CDRom Connector' under the Clock. Changing the BEM immobilises your car though, and requires that a Ford Diagnostic tool be used to conduct a parameter reset. It's all good fun. Lukeyson |

Any computer shop or self respecting nerd should have tons of those cables sitting around.
