Good point, how much for a Ford extinguisher that looks exactly the same as my Auto Barn one (<$20).
At least it's not a Holden one, you'd be required by law to carry, and would be regassed as part of each service.

Hi Mate, Mine is in the boot also!
If my BA catches fire,, 1) Im gonna get me and everyone else out. 2) When out,I will open back door & drop backseat down & grab Extinguisher mounted on raised parcel area in boot right behind seat. Try it as if its in the boot already.takes about 7seconds. Personally I think it cluters cabin & gives the impression of immanent fire All in all we are all different are we not? Good Luck

just ruins the interior in my opinion because if you are going to have one it should be easily accessable, you might not have time to get into your boot

mines mounted across the front of the passenger side seat, using the seat bolts and a custom bracket doesnt get in the way, and you can still put the seat fully forward.
