Hey guys i got a wastegate for my falcon and i don't have any instruction of anything telling me where the lines go so i thought id just ask before i go beserk ripping my air out lol.
it very simular to this one but just a cheapy for now to get me going. see pic of wastgate Thx

Its upside down but the lower port usually operates gate.. The top or outer port is used to raise or adjust boost via controler... I posted a diagram on another post...

cant read the blue writing, but for mine I have a banjo bolt on the side and top of the wastegate, the side goes to the intake manifold. and top to atmosphere
yours might be a different setup |

ARRRRR HA i thought so
mate was telling me to run vacuum to both sides of the gate which don't make sense and your setup how i expected it to be setup. cool ill fix that so i can do some open throttle instead of half throttle and sitting even with commys on highway trying to not over boost (he started it so i followed and the highway was empty so only i hurt me self not others) Man im looking foward to fix it all up and fitting the MSII and get some home tuning going and see how she goes also either of you guys run turbo on standard ecu? how far could you go before you leaned out or had issues???? im looking at buying a larger fuel pump to make sure i don't lean out. Thx Jason

ive got a walbro 255 pump, and i was boosting it up to about 3 or 4 psi and the air fuel gauage never went lean, but cant really trust them gauges. but i think it damaged my engine because it didnt sound to healthy after about a month of it. so now its in for a complete rebuild costing over $4000 and to get the microtech installed, another $2100. should be getting over 300rwkw on about 11 psi he reckons. he did a ute hat was 253rwkw on 10psi with a standard motor, and mines gonna be far from standard |
