hey guys did some searching and couldnt find much info, just wondering when they started putting the 220kw motors into the AU XR8's? as i've found a S2 with one and i thought they only came out in the S3's?

They came out in the later series 2 as well. I don't know from what manufacture date though.

hmm thats sweet cos this is 8th month 01 so yeh late S2 i was thinking along those lines just wanted to make sure it wasnt a transplant... not that i'd mind!

if you want to be sure that it is not a transplant - check the engine number.

Nah late series 2's definately copped the 220kw as my mates one is a genuine 220. I think the build is Sep/Oct '01.
