With LPG these are the things you MUST DO.
1: The right plugs and leads - this may vary from car to car
2: Check to O2 sensor is ok
3: Get it TUNED FOR GAS!
4: Make sure the thermostat is ok - this can make a big difference
5: I also find a bit of a difference depending on what oil I run - currently using Shell Helix
6: Last of all - and I know this sounds bloody stupid - the brand of lpg! I have found in mine that Shell and Caltex give the best mileage and performance. I know that with petrol you need to run a "dense" fuel in most six cylinder cars, as the evaporation rate of the "light" fuels such as poverty unleaded make them burn off quicker. Shell premium petrol will give you much better mpg than the basic unleaded, but of course it all comes back to cost.

But hey, you think WE have got problems? Pity the poor bloody truckie that was on tv the other night, who runs Sydney to Brisbane and has a fuel bill of $80,000 a MONTH!

Maybe its time we all got together and had a few "no fuel days" each month where we all use public transport, car pool, stay at home or whatever. With fuel now predicted to top $2.00/ltr within 6 months it really is a worry.

Dude if its done by a good workshop that know about tuning LPG then u wont lose anything and even if you lose a little who cares.

The money you will save over time you can buy yourself a turbo kit in a years time becuz of the savings.
