But if you change the bell housing - yes. what are you thinking of attempting, I have looked at most of the options on the surface of fitting either a BA motor and/or a BA gearbox to my EA.

the ba motor requires the el bell housing for an el tranny to bolt up.
an el motor requires the ba bell housing for an ba tranny to bolt up.
