Personally I wouldn't attempt it myself cause I wouldn't know how to put the pedal box etc. in....if you wanted to contact ARM79, he has done a couple of T5 conversions so if you have any questions maybe give him a message.

Daniel you could always throw a EL Ghia ECU in, or would you lose adaptive shift if you did that?

Yer, id loose me adaptive auto and running settings unique to the car, be a bummer; wonder if its possible to plug into it n just turn it on?

This is getting a bit off the original subject but I have been informed the FBT's and GT's used a different steering rack than the other cars which is why the steering is so heavy on them at low speeds - and so good at high speeds. It is like chalk and cheeze going from the FBT to the NL Ghia. I am trying to find out about it a little more through my Ford spares person.

Normally when your gearbox is whining it is the planetarty a*** being worn out. Mine sounds like an STA bus in first. It is what radio's were invented for.
