Hey y'all

I was going to replace my clutch cable tomorrow, and wanted to know if it needed to be mounted anywhere at all??

1)
The cable currently on the car atm isnt mounted anywhere that i can see.. it just twists right underneath the sump and flops around?? Is this right.. i was expecting it to at least clamp somewhere just like the accelerator cable??

If anyone has a decent pic of how the clutch cable is MEANT to be, id be really apreciative :D

2)
How far should the clutch be adjusted? My cable is (no joke) 2 threads from falling into the engine bay!!

I should have mentioned that the reason i am changing my clutch cable is because the pedal box has s**t itself.. it has bent and started to eat into the pedal box itself..

I can still change gears but i have to really force my foot down, and i jus tKNOW im going to tear the firewall if i continue to drive the bastard like this!

I really hope th eclutch is alright....
